University Grants Commission, UGC NET 2021 exam is scheduled to be held from today - November 20 to December 5, 2021. National Testing Agency, NTA, will be conducting the it on different days at various exam centres in the country. Candidates who are appearing for UGC NET 2021 exam must go through the exam day guidelines as shared below or on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET 2021 is being conducted offline as the pandemic situation has improved. NTA has released exam day guidelines and instructions that all candidates must follow to ensure everyone's safety. These instructions even include COVID-19 safety protocols like wearing of masks, use of sanitisers, maintaining social distancing and so on
The agency had earlier released admit cards only for the candidates appearing for the exam from November 20 to 24, 2021. The admit cards for the remaining days of UGC NET 2021 are yet to be released by NTA. Candidates must note that admit card is one of the mandatory documents to appear for the examination, without which they won’t be allowed to write the test.
UGC NET 2021 would be held in two shifts, from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The paper in Shift 1 would be common for all the students, while shift 2 paper would be for optional subjects.
